Chakravarthy Can Be Included in the Lineup for CT 2025

The ODI series against the Three Lions is the final stage of India’s preparation for the CT 2025. The much-awaited tournament starts on February 19 in Pakistan, and India will play its first match on the 20th in Dubai. The team is expected to name its roster for the competition on February 12. Chakravarthy is a serious candidate to be included in it.

According to the PTI report, Varun may replace one of the specialist spinners, such as Washington Sundar or Kuldeep Yadav, depending on his results in the ODI series. A senior BCCI source indicated that the team staff wants Chakravarthy to bowl in the ODI squad nets. He currently lacks game practice since the IPL season doesn’t commence until the end of March, and he doesn’t participate in red-ball cricket. Varun is in good playing form, so officials want him to maintain it. This is why he has been included in the lineup for the ODI clash against the Three Lions. In any case, we won’t have to wait long for the final decision on the lineup for CT 2025.
